At Chickasaw Container Services, our drivers are key in achieving two major strategic objectives.  The first is customer satisfaction, and the second is recruiting/retention of the most competent, professional and dedicated driver team in the transportation industry. 

Elements of income:

CCS consistently measures the market for compensation trends, and levels of pay through the year.  We have established a position of competitive hourly compensation to support our objectives in driver satisfaction, and driver retention.  Adjustments to hourly rates are reviewed at six months and one year from date of hire.

CCS shares this objective with its Driving Professionals.  A Team Approach is applied to identify the most qualified candidates to join the CCS team.  Drivers play a key role in recommending candidates and CCS encourages their support. Retention is an every day, shared objective of CCS and CCS Drivers.  Stability and driver experience are the foundation for personal achievement and total customer satisfaction.



Owner operators

CCS Owner Operators are key professionals in Operations, and are considered partners in all efforts to achieve our strategic goals.  Each O/O is an independent contractor with unique business objectives of their own.  CCS takes pride in our direct relationship with each Owner Operator, and our mutual efforts to support their success and income objectives.

Mileage Incentives:  CCS has a Base Mileage Rate that is reviewed frequently and revised to maintain its leadership and competitve position within company areas of operation.  It remains our focus to lead the market to support our retention objectives.

Fuel surcharge support for Owner Operators are reviewed weekly.  They are adjusted automatically when reaching levels that are shared with Owner Operators in advance.

Service Rates:  CCS establishes Service Rates annually to market levels.  These include:

- Dray

- City Runs

- Interchange

- Drop and Hooks

- Strap/Unstrap

- Flat Rates

- Waiting Time
